At present, schools in remote areas, particularly, the Mekong Delta provinces do not have water or water is heavily contaminated with alum in the dry season, so the provision of clean water for students is very necessary.

Facing this situation, this year, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Sponsoring Association for the Poor Patient of Ho Chi Minh City, the Association launched the project "Clean Drinking Water System for Schools", prior to difficult areas of Kien Giang, Long An, Ben Tre, Tieng Giang, Ca Mau to bring clean water to sanitation standards for pupils.
