On May 20, 2021, the Can Tho City Department of Science and Technology established a Acceptance Council of Scientific and Technological Results with the project "Research on building a Honeywall system to serve the protection of the websites of administration and non-business activities in the area of Can Tho city”. The study was carried out by MSc. Nguyen Van Kha and Can Tho City Science and Technology Information Center is the presiding agency of implementation.

The objective of the project is to build a Honeynet system to protect websites, train network security professionals and research trends in cyber attacks.
The project was deployed with the following contents: studying the network attack data collection models, the methods of extracting the features of the network attack data and the training models of the network attack data set; study Honeynet model architecture; forms of cyber attacks; study machine learning models; deploy and install experimental Honeynet model, collect network attack data; propose an effective machine learning model for network security data set; Experiment the models and evaluate the results.
The acceptance Council highly appreciated the practical significance of the project and unanimously approved it. |
