Vietnam admires 'super moon' at the full moon in January
February 19, at full moon in January, Vietnam and other countries around the world will witness remarkable astronomical phenomena - super long and clear moon in 2019.

Accordingly, on this day, the full moon will reach its maximum at 22h53 '(Vietnamese time). The full moon coincides with the time when it reaches the extreme position - the point near the Earth in orbit. Therefore, watching from Earth, viewers will see the Moon is bigger and brighter than usual, so it is called super moon.

When the super moon takes place, the Moon will appear on the opposite side of the Sun. The moon now reflects the maximum sunlight to the Earth.

In 2019, there are 3 times of appearing super moon phenomenon, on January 21, February 19 and March 21. In particular, the upcoming super moon will happen on the first full moon in January in Vietnam, supposedly the longest and clearest time of the year.

Scientists insist that super moon will not cause any geological events, it will only make some differences with the rise and fall of the tide. If it resonates with certain weather conditions, it may cause some problems in coastal areas.
