Harvesting shrimps with Biofloc technology of Truc Anh Company.

Mr. Le Anh Xuan, Director of Truc Anh Production and Trading Limited Company, said: shrimp farming models of Biofloc technology were breeded in a grid-house with a density of 1,000 / m2, feed 25 days, then feeding in the outdoor pond with density of 120 shrimps / m2.

After 65 days of feeding, shrimp were harvested with yields about 11 tons, an area of 4000 m2. Feeding shrimps of Biofloc technology developed on the principle maintain the ratio of reasonable carbon / nitrogen (12/14) for useful microorganism development; promote decomposition process of heterotrophic nitrogen compounds in the pond without changing the water during feeding process.

Concurrently, aquaculture animals used Biofloc biomass as foods, thus transforming protein in foods up to 45-50%. Raising the level of biosafety, risk reduction, less infection.
