Blockchain is one of the developing technologies and has many applications in the world. This technology is also on the list of digital technology fields mentioned by the Prime Minister in the Decision on Promulgating the List of technologies that prioritize research, development and application to actively participate in the fourth Industrial Revolution, at the end of 2020.

At the "Vietnam Blockchain Day" event held by Binance on April 3 in Ho Chi Minh City, Mrs. Lynn Hoang - National Director of Binance Vietnam, commented: “Blockchain is an important technology, with a lot of potential for application in the 4.0 technology revolution. If approaching and mastering blockchain technology early, Vietnam can gain advantages and develop this field at the same time as the world”.

Vietnam really owns a thriving blockchain ecosystem with a lot of products and dynamic developers, always looking forward to developing applications using new technologies, facilities nad new payment infrastructure - Mr. Changpeng Zhao - founder and CEO of Binance, affirmed: "This shows that, the Vietnamese developer community has a dynamic, passionate about technology and quickly adapt to new things."

According to Mr. Changpeng Zhao, Blockchain technology has passed phase 1.0 with mainly cryptocurrency applications (2014). It has also passed the stage of Blockchain 2.0 development with smart contracts (2017), while decentralized financial platform applications have grown relatively in popularity. Currently, Blockchain has entered stage 3.0 with a wide range of applications in the fields of intellectual property, entertainment, and the third generation of the web. Blockchain is also the foundation for new IoT, storage or security solutions. Therefore, it can be said that blockchain technology will continue to explode in the future and can be compared to the invention of the second Internet.
