German designer Johannes Kiessler invented a kind of the hanging electric lamp with strange, nice shape; its outside box is made of cardboards. Therefore, it is environmentally friendly.

According to Gizmag magazine, the hanging lamps is named Numerouno, weighs 600 grams, only consumes 21 W but it is equivalent light as traditional bulbs 150 W. Johannes Kiessler told Gizmag magazine that he is a lecturer in design packaging and cardboards, a precious material, always attracts him. Not only it is cheap, but also it is very flexible, can recycle up to 80%.
Hanging Numerouno lamps from the ceiling are very easy to install in accordance with the space as the kitchen, dining room, office and so on. Presently, these lamps began to be sold in Europe for $ 120.
Kiessler said that he continues to develop new versions with lower prices to penetrate the U.S. market, but he still profits by accompanying products, such as decorative string lights. |
