Climate Change
The Ministry of Industry and Trade has just cooperated with the World Bank to hold a consultation workshop "Developing action plans to respond to climate change of the industry and trade period of 2021 - 2030" on April 26, in Quang Ninh province.
Dozens of reporters and media officers in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have just undergone 6 scientific seminars on many important topics related to the environment and climate change.
In the afternoon of March 30, 2021, Can Tho University organized the International Conference "Sustainable Development of the Mekong Delta SDMD-2021: Agriculture, Fisheries and Environment Adaptation to Climate Change" to present the results of 36 scientific research programs under the Can Tho University Upgrading Project, facilitating the cooperation among the University and localities, businesses and institutions, contributing to sustainable development of the Mekong Delta River adapts to climate change.

In the afternoon of February 24, the Ministry of Industry and Trade coordinated with the UK Ambassador in Vietnam to hold the Vietnam - UK Renewable Energy Dialogue in order to create more specific cooperation opportunities in the electricity sector in general, renewable energy in particular.
On February 23, 2021, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and addressed the online high-level open discussion session of the United Nations Security Council (UN Security Council) with the topic "Addressing risks international peace and security related to climate.”
On January 6, the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment issued document No. 58 / BTNMT-TCMT to the People's Committees of provinces and central cities on the development of environmental protection reports on the the whole country by 2020.
On January 22, in Hanoi, the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment held a workshop for the project “Supporting the development and implementation of the National Adaptation Plan with climate change in Vietnam ”(NAP-GCF).
