Climate change is disrupting flight season of the butterfly
The findings of Canada scientists published in the journal of Global Change Biology (Global Change Biology) issued 21/11. It showed that butterflies flying season corresponds with temperature background and can alter following climate change.

The researchers found that the butterflies are more likely to be sensitive to temperature very accurately, and flight season of this species will occur earlier than an average of 2.4 days when the temperature rises 1 degree C.

Findings were discovered after scientists studied Canada museum's collection of more than 200 species of butterflies and linked them with data of weather stations from 130 years.

Mr. Heather Kharouba, the lead author of the study, said that the warmer temperatures, butterflies will appear at the beginning year. This proved their flying season also happened sooner.

Early migration phenomenon can have many implications for butterfly. If they appear too early, the risk of encountering frost and death rate is very high. Or they might appear before the plants, their food resource,  were grown and consequently they will starve.

According to scientists, the phenomenon of butterfly migration also provides "early warning signals" to help other wild animals find ways to adapt to the phenomenon of climate change is becoming increasingly apparent.
