Carrying out the task of "Disseminating guidance and piloting the application of a product traceability system for the food supply chain in accordance with GS1 global traceability standards", National Barcode Center piloted 3 models, including the model of applying traceability according to GS1 standards for dragon fruit farms of Thuan Nam Seed Company Limited (Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province).

Recognizing that the traceability of products and goods of enterprises is very important for the production of food for consumers, Thuan Nam Seeds Limited Company is very interested in applying  traceability technology to the process planting agricultural products for dragon fruit farms.

From May 2020 to May 2021 with the support of the National Barcode Center and the Conformity Certification Center - Quacert, Thuan Nam Seed Limited Company has embarked on the construction and application of using traceability according to GS1 standards.
