For the export of agricultural products to be truly sustainable, to ensure stable quality of agricultural products, the establishment, grant and management of planting area codes and packing facilities are fundamental and prerequisite conditions. This is also a mandatory regulation of many importing countries and is completely consistent with international practices.
Through the implementation of an urgent research task in the locality, the School of Fisheries - Can Tho University has successfully implemented the project: "Building a process for seed production and commercial farming of Nien fish. According to Lam Dong Provinve Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, auspicious flowers include two main groups: single-petaled and double-petaled varieties. Currently, the group of double petals is cultivated and commercialized more than the group of single petals. By crossbreeding and improving varieties, we have created varieties of double petals with high yield and good flower quality, such as Borealis, Excalibur, Rosanne, Doublini, Rosita, Voyage. Rosita group is the most commonly grown variety in Lam Dong province, flower diameter is 4-5 cm, has 6 to 7 layers of petals with common colors white bordered purple, white bordered pink, pink, jade.
With the desire to provide biotechnological solutions for agriculture in a safe and sustainable way, MSc Nguyen Van Minh (Research and Application of Biotechnology, Open University of Ho Chi Minh City) and associates established MIDOLI, startup specializes in providing a set of products and processes based on beneficial microorganisms for plants and aquatic products in ecological conditions in Vietnam.
The State has been having many policies and programs to support cooperatives, farmers in the development of organic agriculture.
According to TCVN 11041-1:2017, the labeling of organic agricultural products must meet the labeling regulations and other specific regulations.
In recent years, the area of organic cultivation and husbandry in Vietnam has continuously increased. Legal documents and standards on organic agriculture have also been issued to support the production and processing of organic products.
Since the beginning of the year, Can Tho City's Agriculture sector has increased the application of mechanization; science and technology transfer; implement solutions to make the most of the opportunities of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, especially in the fields of high-tech, organic and biotechnology agriculture.
Phong Dien is a district with many typical agricultural products and has the strength of orchards. Effectively and sustainably developing fruit orchards, the district builds production models according to VietGAP and Global GAP processes to aim for high-quality agricultural production. At the same time, focusing on finding output for agricultural products to access domestic markets and export to foreign countries.
The project "Application of technical advances in building swiftlet house models and developing swiftlet farming in Soc Trang province" belongs to the Program to support the application and transfer of scientific and technological advances to promote socio-economic development in rural, mountainous and ethnic minority areas for the period of 2016-2025.
