From 7-12 / 5/2019, Vietnam Robot Innovation Contest Finals 2019 (Vietnam Robocon 2019) will take place in Hai Duong Province, with the competition of 32 teams from colleges and universities across the country after passing regional contest.

Robocon is a contest organized and maintained continuously by the Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Association (ABU) since 2002, each year will be held by the country and published to participating countries.

In 2019, Mongolia will hold this competition, so the exam is inspired by the traditional culture of Mongolia. It is based on the legend of the card of the Mongolian warrior and Sagai throwing folk game of nomads.

In Vietnam, Vietnam Robot Innovation Contest is a contest of technological innovation for students held annually by Vietnam Television Station; to create opportunities for students to practice, test their knowledge of mechanical design, control programming, electricity and many other soft skills.

This year, before reaching the final round, participating teams in Robocon had to go through regional round. Compare with the previous final rounds, according to the Organization Board, the 2019 Robocon exam is more difficult, requires the participating teams to invest a lot of effort in researching and testing new knowledge.

In particular, the first time teams have to design, offer solutions for walking robots to overcome the challenges of the exam questions. However, the organization Board still expect the participating teams to have solutions and design breakthrough robots.
