Enterprise self-assessment, expert support,
Based on experiences from research and evaluation of organizations around the world, a team of experts from Vietnam Productivity Institute has researched and developed a set of assessment tools for Productivity Improvement associated with Innovation - ViPA (Vietnam) Productivity Assessment) to help organizations/enterprises (DN) determine the current state of corporate governance, improve productivity at enterprises, and prepare for digital transformation; thence, enterprises have built a transformation roadmap in the direction of PRODUCTIVE - INNOVATION - DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION.
Enterprises use ViPA toolkit for online self-assessment via the link http://vipa. vnpi.vn/ with 16 criteria based on 4 basic pillars: (1) Corporate governance; (2) Productivity management; (3) Digital transformation platform; (3) Smart manufacturing. There have been nearly 500 domestic enterprises and a number of enterprises in ASEAN and Asian countries participating in self-assessment and receiving online reports in the form of Visual Charts. Thence, enterprises will see the results through the level of competition compared to the highest.
The overview results show that, some businesses participating in the ViPA survey when conducting an online self-assessment in pillar (1) Corporate governance and pillar (2), Productivity management confidently scores to level 3. and level 4. For example, “Leadership” or “process control.” In the aspect related to "Culture of innovation and improvement", 30% of enterprises self-assessed at level 1 and 2, only 6% self-assessed at level 5. Other aspects, such as “process control”, “Performance management” are rated low. It shows that, although SMEs have applied basic management systems and productivity improvement tools, the culture of innovation and improvement has not been effectively implemented. |
