Da Nang Polytechnical University has just put into use of solar power system with a total capacity of 49.6 kWp.

In the morning of September 17, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue and a delegation from the Government began a working trip to Belgium to visit the projects for solar power and wind power of Rent A Port.
Implementation of the Prime Minister's Decision No. 11/2017 / QD-TTg dated April 11, 2017 on mechanisms to encourage the development of solar power projects in Vietnam, Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade studied and evaluated the potential of solar energy in the city as a basis for proposing the development planning of solar power in Hanoi for the period to 2020, vision to 2030.
In the morning of August 24, in Ha Noi, the Ministry of Industry and Trade collaborated with the German Embassy and Siemens Company to organize a workshop of "Sustainable Energy - target a low eeission Economy". Attending the workshop, there were Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong and Mr. Wolfgang Manig, the temporary representative of the German Embassy in Vietnam.
Bac Lieu Province has a coastline of 56 km in length, a large alluvial area, and a strong coastal wind area, which is relatively stable at an average of 7 m / s. Sunlight appears almost year round, with an average number of sunny hours reaches over 2,900 hours per year. Good climate conditions, flat terrain, little impacted by typhoons, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc. These are advantages for Bac Lieu province to develop renewable energy.
At the meeting with Indian Ambassador Harish Parvathaneni, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung affirmed Vietnam's consistent policies always attach importance to traditional relation, comprehensive strategic partner with India and proposed strengthening investment in the fields, such as renewable energy, energy conservation and etc.
According to Binh Dinh Investment Promotion Center, Truong Thanh Investment and Development One Member Limited Company of Vietnam and Univergry Joint Venture (Spain - Japan joint venture) recently had a meeting with the leaders of Binh Dinh province People's Committee to discuss the investment opportunities of solar energy projects in the province.
