"Factory" produces cancer drugs in the body
The scientists at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) have created the tiny molecules that can produce proteins capable of killing cancer cells in the body.

Cancer cells throughout the organs in the body, it is difficult to destroy them without affecting healthy cells. However, tiny molecules that scientists from MIT created can identify tumors and production of drugs within the body to destroy them.

The nanoparticles, with sizes from 1/1.000 to 1/100.000 diameter of a hair, acts as a "factory" producing proteins from the DNA available in the body to destroy cancer cells messages when necessary. These molecules can destroy tumors anywhere in the body.

"This is the first evidence that could create a new compound capable of killing cancer cells from the material available in the body," said Dr. Avi Schroeder, head of research, said LiveScience.

Dr. Avi Schroeder also revealed how to enable ultra-small molecules through experiments on mice. Scientists have used ultraviolet light to activate the nanoparticles release the DNA to create proteins capable of killing tumor.
Looking ahead, the team plans to conduct testing of nanoparticles in the environment and different concentrations of acid-like environment in the human body.
Experts evaluate the creation of drugs capable of killing tumor within the body of the MIT scientists may help avoid side effects from drugs toxic cancer treatments.
