The sound is ideal for work about 70 decibels, equivalent to the sound of cars passing by or in a cafe.
Scientists at the University of Illinois (USA) draws this conclusion after studying the brain to process information in the noise environment at many different levels, according to news agency UPI.
Specifically, not enough noise, the brain tends to "paralyzed"; too noisy distraction is also increased, as moderately sized music is good for creativity, the study leader, Professor Ravi Mehta. "Noise in moderation helps improve the ability to solve problems in a creative way," Mr. Mehta said.
