The handheld sprayer transforms water into a sanitizing solution by turning the water into ozone. This is accomplished by using a diamond electrolysis cell, a technology that was selected as one the Top Twenty Most Viable Water Technologies at the 2013 Global Water Summit. As a cleaner, the ozone is as powerful as chlorine, and is able to kill bacteria and viruses such as E. coli and salmonella while still remaining safe for use on fruits and vegetables.
