Successful trial test fresh water processing system in Ly Son
Mr. Dong Quoc Ve -an official of the Center for Applied Technology Transfer - General Department of Environment (Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment) said that the Center has installed and successfully tested project water treatment system contamination into fresh water for daily life for people in Ly Son island district, Quang Ngai Province.

This acquisition will help hundreds of households in areas lacking water sources or to use water contaminated saline on the island is used to clean water daily food service.

As experimental model, in a tank with a capacity of 500 liters of water of four energy panels Carocell (C3000) and the tubes are simple to install, with operating principles distilled by heat radiation, temperature 70-80 degrees Celsius, average daily system can process 80 liters of clean water and used directly without cooking. Process model contaminated water into fresh water for daily shows remarkably effective.

He added that the same Quoc Ve design capacity of the energy of each plate with an area of 3m2 C3000 has the capacity to treat 20 liters of water per day. Water treatment system is simple, using solar energy, installation of low budget, in accordance with weather conditions and funding of local families. Therefore, this system is considered optimal for economic efficiency, improved quality of life for people living on the island of Ly Son.

The system is capable of splitting water inputs such as water, saline water, alkaline water in wells, wells in the households to separate into direct supply of fresh water for drinking every day.
The installation developed for the households of the saline water or water shortage in two An Vinh and An Hai commune, Ly Son Island Center is currently being surveyed and will support installation in 2013.
As planned, the project will be installed for 600 households in the region lack running water or to use saline water on the island, with a capital of nearly 10 billion by the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment for funding.
