A student in South Africa has created products to help bathing without water.
Marishane Ludwick, 22, University of Cape Town student is the author of DryBath (dry bath). This is a skin gel that acts as soap and water. This product is different from using antibacterial hand cleaners because it does not smell alcohol concentration anonymously.
This idea has won the Enterprise Award 2011 students, and is being widely adopted in Africa and many developing countries, where millions of people lack running water.
Marishane products are being produced to provide commercial customers, including some major airlines in the world for use in long flights, or for governments to provide troops on the battlefield.
DryBath also extremely useful in the world's poor areas, where water resources are scarce. |
