Mechanized Cultivation Research division of Institute of Agriculture and Post-Harvest Technology, has created an Agrimotor using 4 Hp Diesel motor, the machine weights 260 kg, only consumes 6 liters fuel/ha, the average transplant distance is about 200-250 mm, the distance in each cluster is 120-140 mm; implant speed is 1.2 – 2 km/h, 3-5 units of rice seeding in each cluster.

MC-6-250 Agrimotor was carried out to assess and put into production in Bac Ninh, Thai Binh, Nghe An and Southern provinces, such as Long An, Kien Giang, An Giang and so on.

The early stages obtained satisfactory results in application, thus, it was well-received and put into production by farmers everywhere.

Some Southern provinces, such as An Giang, Tien Giang, Kien Giang, Soc Trang, Dong Thap, Long An and so on farmers have already produced rice seeding, therefore the process of putting Agrimotor into production has implemented rapidly.
