Deputy prime minister Vu Duc Dam has signed a Decision to establish and promulgate an operation regulation for Phu Yen high-tech application agriculture zone. Accordingly, it is an unit under Phu Yen People’s Committee.

Phu Yen high-tech application agriculture zone is a concentrated zone, carries out tasks with regard to agricultural activities, such as cultivation, livestock, forestry, fisheries, preservation-agricultural products, manufacture of probiotics, animal feeding in South Central Coast.

Phu Yen high-tech application agriculture zone carries out research, applications, tests, performing model of high -tech application agriculture products in order to develop agricultural cultivation in the region.

Apart from that,  the project can help link research activities, high – technology application, manufacturing the high -tech application agriculture products; organizing festival, exhibition, demonstration of high- tech application agriculture products.

Meanwhile, this may help to attract investment, high – tech human resource, implementation of
high- tech application activities in the agricultural areas.
