Within the area of 100 square meters, The That Lat fish raiser took 45 million dong to invest, the raising time lasts for from 9 to 10 months, it is estimated that the profit the raiser could earn through this model is about 17 million dong per season.

That Lat fish resource serves export annually is not available all year round. Thus, some Districts including Co Do, Vinh Thanh, Thoi Lai (Can Tho City) has successfully applied model of raising That Lat fishes in ponds with livestock pellets.

According to Mr. Le Van Tao (Dong Hiep commune, Co Do district) who raised 1,000 square meters of That Lat fish said: raising that lat fishes with livestock pellets can reduce disease, and the fish grow faster. It is estimated the investment for 1,000 square meters of raising he took about 145 million dong, the raising time lasts for 9 to 10 months,  the productivity is estimated about 4 tonnes which offers him a profit of 100 million dong.
