On January 15, 2020, Can Tho Department of Science and Technology set up a science and technology council to accept the project "Application of advanced packaging technology to improve the productivity of rice processing factories.” The study was implemented by Mr. Lam Minh Tri, Co Do Agriculture Limited Company is a presiding agency.

The goal of the project is to apply advanced packaging technology, yielding 4-5 tons / hour into the rice production process to create a closed, automated process to improve efficiency and productivity of rice processing plants, reduction of production investment costs, increase economic efficiency, increase competitiveness for businesses.
According to the project research team, the installation of a complete, advanced rice packaging system, in the direction of automation, a modern, information technology control system with detailed parameters is displayed directly on the screens help limit human intervention in the production and packaging processes, bringing about practical efficiency in productivity, significantly reducing labor.
The council evaluated the project met the requirements, followed the initial objectives and unified the project acceptance.
