Workshop "Mechanical engineering - automation contributes to the development of the Mekong Delta region"
On September 15, 2023, at the RLC Building Hall, Can Tho University, the Ministry of Science and Technology organized a Workshop "Mechanical - Automation contributing to the development of the Mekong Delta region", this is the workshop organized by the National Science and Technology Program "Research, application and development of mechanical and automation technology" code KC.03/21-30".


The goal of the Workshop is to introduce national science and technology programs until 2030 with specific requirements: Research and master technology in design, manufacturing, testing and application advanced mechanical products on the List of key mechanical products issued by the Prime Minister; Research and master technology in designing, manufacturing, and integrating major automation systems for a number of key economic sectors; Form capable research groups based on research results of science and technology research tasks.

At the workshop, delegates heard the contents of the National Science and Technology Program until 2030, and presentations from businesses, organizations, individuals and institutions.

In particular, the Workshop focused on key contents: Research and mastery of design technology and manufacturing of advanced mechanical equipment systems applied to a number of key economic sectors; Research and master technology, design, manufacture and integrate new generation automation systems for key economic sectors...

The conference ended with a discussion between speakers and attendees.
