The journey of green transformation and sustainable development: Finding new growth drivers
"Green growth, the journey towards reducing net emissions to zero" is a very practical and meaningful topic, consistent with the current sustainable development trend in the world.


Overview of the opening session of the Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum in 2023

That is the speech of Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai at Ho Chi Minh City Economic Forum 2023 (HEF 2023) with the theme: "Green growth, journey towards reducing net zero emissions". The opening session took place in the morning of September 15.

Attending the opening session, there were Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Mr. Le Minh Khai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Prime Minister; Mr. Vo Van Hoan, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and many leaders of the Party, State, Ho Chi Minh City, localities and internationally.

Speaking at the event, Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai highly appreciated Ho Chi Minh City's choice of the green growth theme to redirect and create new momentum for the economy in a green and sustainable direction, making an important contribution to implementation commitment and target to reduce national greenhouse gas emissions.

Next are speeches from leaders of central ministries and branches to orient the development of policies according to the functions of each sector in the issue of green growth, reducing carbon emissions and at the same time orienting ministries and branches in accompanying , supporting local governments to implement green growth policies, aiming to reduce net emissions to zero.
