Climate Change minimizes animals
|
|
Through the process of observation, scientists recognized an inverse correlation between the size of the animal and the average temperature.

Influence is most evident in the salamanders, sheep, deer, birds and etc. The study was implemented during 30 years shows that animals are considerably smaller, such as Alpine Chamois mountain goats in Europe. They reduce the size and weight to 25% compared to amount of animals in 1980.
UPI quoted biologist Tom Mason at University of Durham (UK) said that body size decreases due to climate change is common in the animal world, especially for many species of fishes, birds and mammals. Particularly, smaller species of mountain goats really surprise to scientists who worry about their survival.
One of the reasons is the amount of foods of mountain goats are less nutritious than previous foods, so they have to rest more and spend less time for searching foods. |
