An animal with extremely scary teeth has just been discovered in Vietnam.

In the last years, a scientist group of Institute for Ecology and Organism Resource from Vietnam, Hungary and Canada collected many data on the composition of the species of bats in Laos and Vietnam and identified a new species of bat for science.

It is dolichodon Hypsugo mosquito bat discovered in Attapư (Attapeu) Southern Laos and Cat Tien National Park in Vietnam.

New bat species has small size, with a length of arm between 35.2-38.4 mm, the length of the foot between 5.9-7 mm. Its belly is black brown, and head is lighter. The head is short and broad. The food of this species is mainly insects.

According to the description, this bat species has extremely long and every scary fangs. This species is rare, at risk of threatening the living environment is due to the human impact (quarrying, construction of hydraulic power and etc).

In addition to special mosquito bats, International Nature Conservation Fund (WWF) also found color changing spiny frogs and beetle species is 54cm long (the second largest insect in the world) in our country.
