Vietnamese users are "helping" cybercrime

According to recent reports, the rate of malicious personal devices in Vietnam is the highest in the world with 73.8%. The same situation occurred with 61% of personal computers in Vietnam, while the world average was 19%.

Recently, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) ranked Vietnam 101st in 165 countries and territories in terms of Network Information Security Index (cut down 24 levels compared to 2016). This showed that information security and high-tech crime prevention in Vietnam still face many challenges.
In 2017, Vietnam is ranked third in the number of spammers, accounting for 11.7% of the world. However, per capita we are higher 13.4 times than China, 8 times in comparison with US. |
