Co-operating to develop biomass and garbage electricity projects
In Ho Chi Minh City, Power Engineering Consulting Joint Stock Company 2 (PECC2) and a number of partners have recently signed a memorandum of understanding on a joint venture to invest in the development of biomass and waste electricity projects.


Specifically, PECC2 and Tin Thanh Group (TTG), Ninh Thuan Agriculture and Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company (NITSA), Son My Renewable Energy Joint Stock Company (SSC) signed a memorandum of understanding on joint venture to invest in the development of biomass power plant projects in the Mekong Delta region and the garbage power plant project using waste incineration technology in Ho Chi Minh City.

Investing in efficient clean energy projects is one of the important development strategies of PECC2, thereby promoting the strengths of the EPC contractor for electrical works, contributing to environmental protection and resource development of clean energy for the country's sustainable development.

Collaboration with Tin Thanh Group, a company with capabilities and strengths in the field of high-tech agriculture, processing of agricultural products, biofuels and biofuel resources with trusted partners NITSA with SSC will open up new development opportunities in the area of biomass electricity and waste electricity.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Chon Hung, Chairman of Administrative Council, General Director of PECC2 said: One of the pioneering enterprises in investing in developing renewable energy projects, PECC2 has invested and acted as a total. EPC contractor, directly designs, constructs and manages the operation of many solar power plants in Vietnam.
