The Embassy of Sweden, the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Swedish companies also exchanged experiences in the field of energy development.
The event was organized by the Department of Electricity and Renewable Energy (Ministry of Industry and Trade) in collaboration with the Trade Department (Embassy of Sweden).
Speaking at the workshop, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Hoang Quoc Vuong said that renewable energy could help solve environmental problems. Vietnam with a huge potential for energy, especially renewable energy will play an important role, when the price of this type of energy is more competitive than traditional energy.
“In Resolution No. 55-NQ / TW of the Politburo on the orientation of the national energy development strategy of Vietnam to 2030, the vision to 2045 also states that in the coming time, we must step up more further develop the energy market in Vietnam, especially renewable energy. Therefore, we must actively and thoroughly mobilize more social resources, from the private sector and foreign investors to develop energy in Vietnam, when the commitment and support specific support of the State with energy projects is getting less, ”said Deputy Minister Hoang Quoc Vuong.
In order to implement Resolution No. 55, the Ministry of Industry and Trade said that the Ministry is currently actively deploying the National Electricity Development Plan for the period (General Scheme VIII) from now till 2030, with a vision to 2050, and Vietnam electricity development plan.
Besides, Deputy Minister Hoang Quoc Vuong questioned how we can control and harmonize the strong development of the private sector with the development of the country's energy needs in the country next stage. The implementation time of the projects in the last electrical diagram VII shows that we have not been able to control the progress of many large projects, but this delay greatly affects the energy security of the country. |
