Mrs. Le Thi Ly who has over 40 years’ experience cooking goby said: “I have thought that it is only enough to sell the products, but when I found out that fake products is everywhere in the market so I really concern. To protect products’ trademark, I decide to register intellectual property, as I know a recent survey, my product has not been tampered anymore.”

In the early 2013, Mrs. Ly has already finished all procedures of building product’s trademark. Until June 2013, the brand’s name “Cá bống cô Lý” has been approved. Similarly, Guong candy is also a special food in Quang Ngai, has appeared all over the country, till now it has not been registered intellectual property, and etc.

To protect special products, Quang Ngai Division of Economy has been promoting advocacy work to help manufacturer to register intellectual property; this can make inspection task more easily and authorities can handle counterfeit, fake goods better; partially contribute to public health protection, and etc.
