With the topic "Women with intellectual property - Promoting innovation and creativity", the message of this year's IP Day promotes women's creativity and encourages women to learn, exploit and use effectively intellectual property tools. Therefore, the NOIP has coordinated with the Vietnam Women Intellectuals Association to organize an exhibition of inventions by female scientists (April 21) and a conference on women with intellectual property (April 22).

In parallel with events revolving around the topic of IP Day, the NOIP has also organized many workchops with diverse content, targeting many audiences: from specialized workshops for law students, youths to learn about intellectual property to intellectual property issues in cooperation between universities and businesses and etc. These activities are also spread across provinces and cities, including Hanoi, Phu Tho, and Ho Chi Minh City, Soc Trang, Dong Thap.
