The Ministry of Science and Technology has published TCVN 11041-1:2017 Organic agriculture – Part 1: General requirements for production, processing and labeling of organic agricultural products (belonging to the standards TCVN 11041 series of Organic argiculture). The standard applies to organic farming processes, organic livestock production, organic aquaculture and products from the above processes used as food or animal feed.

According to TCVN 11041-1:2017, the labeling must meet the regulations on goods labels and specific regulations as follows: The product label must list all ingredients in order from highest to lowest according to mass percent volume or percentage.

Specifically, for ingredients that are food additives, the name of the additive group, the name of the additive or the INS international code (if any); In case the additive is a flavoring, sweetener, or colorant, the name of the group of flavorings, sweeteners and colorants, the name of the substance (if any) and the substance that is "natural", "natural breed", "synthetic" or "artificial"...

For spices or spice extracts, used alone or in combination, not to exceed 2% by weight of the product, only “seasonings”, “seasonings” or “mixed seasonings” are required. For herbs or parts of herbs used alone or in combination but not exceeding 2% by weight of the product, simply write “herb” or “mixed herb”.

Also, the product label must contain information about the manufacturer, packer or distributor and the name and/or number of the certification body. And etc.
