Detecting viruses cause sinusitis
Sinusitis is a common disease associated with respiratory tract and should not be treated by antibiotics; since the drug does not work with the virus.


It is recommended by a new agency society infections America (IDSA). According to the agency, in seven, one of them also had a sinus sufferers, and it is a the fifth factor  leads to drug resistance. There are between 90% - 98% of sinusitis due to virus infection.

The overuse of antibiotics not only inappropriate incurable symptoms but also facilitate drug-resistant bacteria generated "virus”, which makes treatment more difficult.

Bacteria directly cause infections that are not currently defined. "No easy test to determine the sinusitis is caused by viruses or bacteria that cause so many doctors prescribe antibiotics to patients based solely on experience," Dr. Anthony Chow faculty at the infectious diseases at the University of British Columbia said.

"However, if patients are viral infection, most antibiotics will not work and in fact may be harmful by increasing drug resistance, leaving the side effects of drugs," Chow noted.

Sinusitis causes pain both sides nose, runny nose uncomfortable and last for weeks; symptoms appear during or after cold and respiratory infections. Besides other factors, such as exposure to allergens and environmental irritants may also play an important pathogenic role.

This is very meaningful information, to clarify two common issues not previously resolved. The diagnosis of sinusitis caused by bacteria has increased abuse of drugs leads to loss of antibiotic effects. It opens treatments more effective in the near future.
