Estimatedly, about 5,000 polar bears will be born in the new year, according to data from World Wildlife Fund (WWF).

RIA-Novosti quoted notification of WWF that the number of white polar bears will increase in early 2014.
Each year, on December 29, WWF will organize a birthday party for polar bears, marking time between December and January when bears’ children were born. It is usual that posed by WWF from 2007.
Expectedly, there are 5000-6000 bears living in the Arctic regions of Russia, while there are about 20,000 to 25,000 polar bears around the world. |
