Suburban districts: Cu Chi, Hoc Mon, Binh Chanh, Nha Be, Can Gio and District 12, Thu Duc (Ho Chi Minh City) are localities benefiting from the policy of supporting the construction of animal raising waste treatment facilities for the period of 2018-2020. After the implementation process, the policy has brought positive effects to livestock activities, improved the quality of life for suburban people and the pollution from animal wastes has been overcome.

Specifically, more than 6,000 households have been supported to build biogas plants, dozens of households have built biological pads and over 1,000 households have applied good animal husbandry practice procedures. So far, only about 2,700 waste treatment facilities in livestock need to be built and over 900 works need to be repaired and improved.

Mrs. Nguyen Thi Kim Oanh (Xuan Thoi Thuong commune, Hoc Mon district) - one of the households supported the sharing policy: “My family has been raising cows for more than a year. Before I had no biogas reactor, I was forced to dump cow dung into the field, which is a waste and also polluted the environment. However, about 3 months ago, after being supported by the program to build a biogas reactor, not only my family's breeding environment was guaranteed but also gas for cooking, which could save a lot of money and the residue used to fertilize the tree is also very good.”
