Organic farming standards - promoting circular agriculture and using green energy
Organic standards in the world and in Vietnam pay great attention to the conservation of the ecosystem and the application of green energy. The promotion of green energy in agricultural production in the short term to ensure food safety (health principle), environmental protection (ecological principle) and in the long term will contribute to sustainable agriculture.

Recently, due to the pressure of the import markets and the self-demand of the producers, the application of new production methods, such as good agricultural practices and organic agriculture is increasingly popular.

According to the International Committee on Food Standards (CODEX), organic agriculture is a comprehensive production management system that promotes and enhances the health of agro-ecosystems, including biodiversity, biological processes and biological productivity. Organic agriculture emphasizes the management of farming activities, minimizing the use of materials and inputs from outside the production facility and taking into account local and regional conditions.

The ASEAN Organic Standards clearly state that organic agriculture meets the following objectives: (i) Apply long-term, sustainable, ecologically-oriented and systematic organic production; (ii) Ensure long-term soil fertility based on soil biology; (iii) Minimize (and avoid if possible) synthetic inputs and materials at all stages of the organic production chain as well as human and environmental exposure to chemicals durable or potentially harmful; (iv) Minimizing pollution from production activities to the surrounding environment;

The concept of circular agriculture is developed based on ideas from the circular economy concept, using the theory and principles of industrial ecology. Industrial ecology seeks to reduce resource consumption and reduce emissions to the environment by closing the loop of materials and materials usage..
