In the coming period, a number of energy projects approved by the Government in implementing investment in Binh Thuan, advantages in economic development and coastal sea with many economic sectors, with the development of communications is more favorable for Binh Thuan to develop economics increasingly.

According to Binh Thuan province, the province has potential for exploitation of energy sources, such as thermal power (coal, gas), hydropower, wind power, solar power and other renewable energy sources; particularly solar energy potential is highest in the country, with a number of high sunshine hour, stable heat radiation, low rainfall, very suitable and favorable for the development of solar power. This is a condition for forming Renewable Energy Center in Binh Thuan.

Speaking at the meeting, Permanent Vice Chairman Luong Van Hai requested the departments, related branches should be careful in choosing investors who have to ensure their capacity. In the coming time, the relevant departments quickly implement; Trade and Industry Department and consultant units early implement the deployed work at the meeting.
