Propose India to help Vietnam develop renewable energy

At the meeting with Indian Ambassador Harish Parvathaneni, Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung affirmed Vietnam's consistent policies always attach importance to traditional relation, comprehensive strategic partner with India and proposed strengthening investment in the fields, such as renewable energy, energy conservation and etc.

The Deputy Prime Minister also highly appreciated the important developments in the areas of cooperation between the two countries over the past years, including the successful co-ordination of the Indian Prime Minister's visit to Vietnam (9/2016), President of National Assembly of Vietnam’s India visit (12/2016).
In particular, two countries' upgrading relations with comprehensive strategic partners (9/2016) reflected the deepening and high level of cooperation between Vietnam and India, created new momentum for bilateral relations increasingly more effective.
In the coming time, Deputy Prime Minister proposed two sides should increase investment in areas which India is strong and Vietnam needs infrastructure, especially energy infrastructure.
Indian Ambassador Harish Parvathaneni affirmed that it would be more positive to connect leading Indian firms to explore opportunities for cooperation and investment.
At present, some large Indian companies are interested in infrastructure development projects, especially transportation and energy infrastructure in Vietnam. |
