According to the memorandum of understanding, SY Group will invest in a solar power plant project in Long Dien Dong Commune (Dong Hai District, Bac Lieu Province).
It is expected, the plant is built on land area of about 400 hectares, with a total investment of over 10.242 billion VND.
Duration of the project is more than 2 years, from 2017 to June 2019.
The project will be divided into 2 phases of construction. After completion, this solar power plant has a total capacity of 300 MW.
According to SY Group, this is the largest solar project in Vietnam today. The project will contribute to the economic and social development of Bac Lieu Province and the provision of renewable energy to Vietnam.
Chairman of Bac Lieu People's Committee said that the province will create favorable conditions for investors to implement the project.
Provincial leaders also suggested that investors, after the project is approved for investment, investment licensing needs fast deployment, correct progress of the project. |
