Da Nang Polytechnic University is the first university in the central region to pioneer the use of environmentally friendly clean energy when it has put into use of solar power systems with a total capacity of 49.6 kWp .

This solar power system consists of 160 IREX 310 Wp solar panels and associated equipment, calculated to withstand the risk of weather, is installed on a total area of ​​331 m2. It is expected that the system will produce 75,025 kWh / year (equivalent to 208.4 kWh / day), meeting about 7.1% of the school's demand for electricity.

According to calculations, this solution will help the school save 4.8% of electricity costs per year in the first 12 years, and about 7.1% in the following years. In addition to its proven economic value, the system also contributes to the reduction of approximately 49,607 tons of CO2 emitted annually into the environment. In addition, this is a visual solar model of research and training for students.
