Canola flower fields in Thai Binh
Going to Hong Ly commune, Thai Binh province in these days, visitors will be attracted by the becauty of the most beautiful canola flower fields.


Canola flower fields in Hoi Khe village, Hong Ly Commune, Vu Thu District, Thai Binh province is large about 10 hectares, located on the banks of the Red River. On December, the canola flower growing area gradually bloom and start covering yellow color throughout the countryside.

From the center of Thai Binh city to Hoi Khe village is long about 20 kilometers, visitors can visit and take photos at canola flower fields in the flowering season.

From Hanoi, tourists can go to Hoi Khe by two ways:

Hanoi - Dong Van town (Ha Nam) - Hung Yen city - Red River dike – Tinh Xuyen ferry  - Vu Thu, Thai Binh.

Ha Noi - Ha Nam - Nam Dinh – going to Tan De bridge to Thai Binh, turn right follow Red River dike to Hong Ly commune.

Thanks to the simple and rustic beauty, that attracts many tourists, not only in Thai Binh but also other provinces, cities visit and mainly the youth like to explore and take souvenir  photos.

In these days, going to Hong Ly commune you will be impressed immediately by a bright yellow color of the canola flower fields stretch immensely.

Hoi Khe village as well as other places of Hong Ly commune, farmers grow canola to take its seeds for higher incomes. The vegetables are planted with other crops in the winter, Hong Ly commune has two rice crops and a canola crop a year. Canola season starts early October each year and ends on February.

Blooming canola flower season, tourists come to visit or take photos free and they are carefully directed by people.
