Currently, local authorities are coordinating with authorities to check the phenomenon of dark red sea water appearing in the area.

According to people in Cam Nhuong commune, the above phenomenon of dark red sea water has appeared for about the past 3 days. This phenomenon also appeared last year in this sea. Some fishermen here believe that the phenomenon of sea water turning red may be due to rough seas in recent days, causing waves to wash seaweed ashore.

Previously, in 2023, in the waters of Thien Cam beach resort, there was also a situation where the sea water changed color for many days. Authorities took samples to test and determined the cause was a type of seaweed.
