Quang Ngai Environmental Protection Fund has functions as management and receiver unit which manages capital budget, deposits in order to renovate environment in mining activities, controlling environmental protection charges, fines for administrative violations in field of environment.

Apart from that, this is also a management and receiver unit, solving compensation tasks for environmental damage, grants, contributions, Organization's investment trust, domestic and foreign individual investments, other capitals under provisions of law that supports to programs, projects, activities and missions in Quang Ngai regions.

Quang Ngai Environmental Protection Fund is a State financial institution which submits to state management under Department of Finance. It has legal status, independent account, its own stamp, the right to open account in state treasury and credit institutions, and operates under the provision of law.
