In a corn field that has entered the harvest season, Mr. Tran Dinh Huong, in team 15, Ha Nhai Bac village, Tinh Ha commune, received investment from Son Tinh District Agricultural Service Center in seeds, supplies, medicine and technical guidance to produce 1 acre of corn variety NK7328.
After more than 3 months, although the demonstration model was on sandy soil, high land, far from irrigation water sources, and prolonged hot weather, thanks to the attention of the District Agricultural Service Center, dedicated guidance was given. People properly followed the technical processes of care, fertilization, and watering, so the corn yield reached 65 tons/ha, higher than the model's target of 5 tons/ha and higher than farmers' mass fields is 7 quintals/ha. Profit reached 10.9 million VND/crop, equivalent to 21.8 million VND/year, more than 9 million VND/year higher than growing cassava in lowland areas.
