Accordingly, the project will focus on households with low - average income, using over 100 incandescent light bulbs which stimulate dragon fruits in bloom. Every household will be supported with 20% discount for compact light, 50% discount for compact light bulbs, the company will withdraw all incandescent light bulbs which correspond to number of supported price.

The research show that compact light bulbs will help to reduce 75% energy consumption, and the blooming rate can reach 70 -90%. Meanwhile, using compact light bulbs is more 4 times than incandescent light bulbs, saving 2/3 energy consumption and having equal blooming rate.

Along with Binh Thuan province, Long An has 2,000 hectares of dragon fruit and Tien Giang 2,500 hectares, if farmers use compact light bulbs, they will save 5 billion VND/year. Apart from saving money, the project will partially protect environment, reduce green house gas emission about 20,800 tons of CO2.
