Teacher Ngo Quoc Hung, Director of the AI Talent Training Center (CoTAI), emphasized that the best and fastest way for schools and students to properly understand AI is to start learning and exploiting it in practice early thorough route. Banning and restricting the use of AI is an ineffective solution, going against the trend of development, causing disadvantage and missing opportunities for students.
Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hai, Research Team Leader of THRIVE STEM Education Program, University of Missouri (USA) said that, to protect students' privacy and security, education authorities should establish clear guidelines for data collection, storage, and use, and avoid over-reliance on AI. Teachers still play an important role in fostering relationships, understanding students' social and emotional needs.
Referring to the issue of teaching AI at schools, Mr. Nguyen Viet Trung, Deputy General Director of KDI Education updated about the world trend in AI teaching and deployable content for students.
At the same time, describe the trend of AI education in Vietnam in recent years, and share some practical experiences in designing AI programs and contests for teachers and students at all levels in Vietnam.
The workshop aims to encourage schools in Vietnam to apply the superiority of AI in training a new generation of students, born in the digital era and to use digital applications in a more effective way. |
