Convergence of knowledge power from the network of artificial intelligence research and development centers in Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City Department of Science and Technology has just organized an advisory council to accept scientific and technological tasks "Research and propose a plan to build a network of institutes, research and development centers for artificial intelligence at training research institutions."

Participating in the network of AI research institutes and centers in research and training institutions brings benefits to stakeholders, including research and training institutions, researchers, and businesses and society in general.

The task is carried out by the University of Natural Sciences (Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City) as an implementation agency, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Triet is in charge of implementing the task.

Reporting to the advisory council for acceptance of the task, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Minh Triet affirmed: Based on the surveyed models, based on the assessment of the actual situation in Vietnam, the research team proposes 8 factors. This is a general guideline for proposing a model of a network of institutes and research and development centers for artificial intelligence (AI) at research and training institutions.

In these 8 principles, the main focus is on "people-centered" and "guaranteeing the interests of stakeholders" as the foundation. The remaining six principles are divided into 3 groups: (1) a harmonious combination of research with training and a combination of basic research with application; (2) background factors of connection, support and consultation of experts; (3) the combination with business and the interdisciplinary, inter-institute - school cooperation.

To ensure highly applicable research, networks promote the invitation of businesses and industry partners, especially those with significant technological influence, to participate in the network with differrent roles from advisors to investors as well as research partners in projects within the network. As investors or research partners in the network, industry partners have the opportunity to provide technical and technological backgrounds as well as real-world contexts and problems to pose research challenges for researchers. In addition, the participation of enterprises collaborated research projects also helps the process of transferring knowledge and research results from academia to practice more quickly and effectively. In their advisory role, industry partners have the opportunity to provide relevant advice to the network managemenmt council to make strategic adjustments at the leadership level to make the network effective, and bring practical value to society.
