Quang Binh: Protects household water sources of Phu Vinh lake

Water reservoir in Phu Vinh, Dong Hoi City, Quang Binh province is the largest irrigation work in Central with a capital over 22.33 million m3 of water. To protect the lake water, recently, Provincial People’s Committee had Document No. 1859 / UBND-TNMT on solving the problem of environmental pollution of the lake’s household water source.

Accordingly, Provincial People’s Committee required People's Committee of Dong Hoi City to direct localities, related research units for relocation, removal and termination of farming activities in the lake basin where had untreated wastes discharged into the lake, caused water pollution of Phu Vinh lake.
Notify the households don’t breed cattle, poultry (buffalo, cow and etc) in the lake basin. Strengthening the production test, processing competence for those cultivated, produced spontaneously without planning, technical process causing risk of water pollution and etc. |
