This is an exhibition organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ha Noi People's Committee on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). The same ranked Cup called ASEAN's Image Cup is presented to 10 authors from 10 countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam. More than 10,000 photos were submitted for the exhibition. Most reflect the country, people, culture, society, economy and cooperation activities among ASEAN countries. Photo is taken at Angkor by a Cambodian author.

Of the more than 1,200 authors submitting photos, Indonesian photographers have persuaded the Arts Council of the exhibition to choose to present the Cup for the work "Cow Racing".

According to the organization Board, the artwork are selected to display will contribute to introduce and promote the beauty of the country, natural scenery, traditional culture, special culinary culture of ASEAN countries to the domestic and foreign people. Out of 230 exhibition photographs, there are 50 photographs of Vietnam, each country displays 20 photographs.

The number of Vietnamese photographers with the exhibition image also occupies a majority with 61 of 136 authors. Photograph is taken at Da Vang Pagoda, Myanmar.

From 5 to 11/8, photo exhibition "Country, people of ASEAN" will take place at the Monument Square Ly Thai To, Dinh Tien Hoang, Hanoi. There are 230 photographs selected for the exhibition, in which the Bac Son Valley by Vu Kim Khoa is the representative of Vietnam to be awarded the ASEAN Photograph Cup.
