On August, 29, 2017, in Can Tho City, it took place the workshop of "Finalizing regulations on nature preservation, protection of rare and endangered animals and plant species in the modification draft of law on forest protection and development” jointly organized by the National Assembly's Science, Technology and Environment Committee and the States administration projects, United States Agency for International Development (USAID-GIG).

The workshop attendance, there were more than 80 delegates from the Department of Science, Technology and Environment, Office of the National Assembly, General Department of Forest Protection under Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, General Department of Environment under Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, representatives of the Management Board of Hoang Lien - Lao Cai National Park, Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, Bach Ma National Park - Thua Thien Hue, representatives of Forest Protection Sub-Departments of some provinces, cities in the whole country, representatives of Can Tho city's departments, branches.
At the workshop, the workshop participants discussed and contributed ideas to the Draft Law on Forest Protection and Development (modification) and heard explanation from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. |
